The University of Oregon's Dept of Geography will once again offer the NCGE-endorsed “Preparing to Teach AP Geography" course this summer. Assignments may be completed anytime between June 22-September 4 and submitted online directly to the course instructor.

The class will be taught by Prof. Susan Hardwick, former NCGE president and experienced AP Human Geography instructor. Along with content-rich and standards-linked readings and assignments, this course web site also provides a long list of teaching ideas, resources, and model lesson plans for AP Geography teachers. The total cost of this four credit graduate course is $620 (plus books and fees).
