2010 Excellence in Scholarship Awards

The Excellence in Scholarship Award recognizes graduating seniors majoring in geography for outstanding academic achievement. Faculty members may select a student from their institution based on academic performance as the primary criterion, and secondary criteria such as Gamma Theta Upsilon membership, departmental service, dedication, enthusiasm, and participation.
 
NCGE will publish the name of one outstanding student from a university/college in the June newsletter (Perspective).
 
Application Procedures for 2010:
 
1.   The nominating faculty member must be a member of AAG or NCGE.
2.   Enter nominator and student information. Then, you will receive a link to download  and print the certificate. The award will appear more professional if it is printed on parchment or crème-colored paper.
3.   You may present more than one certificate, but NCGE will publish only one student name per institution.
