2010 National Conference on Geography Education - Exhibiter Information

Showcase your products, services, ideas to passionate geography education leaders from across the United Statesand abroad at the National Conference on Geography Education! This conference provides a forum for leaders in geography education to meet, exchange information, and share ideas to inform national, state, and local programs and curricula.

Geography educators who attend the National Conference are :

  • Coordinators and leaders in their State Geography Alliance Networks;
  • Organizers of State Geography Bees;
  • Members of national, state, and local assessment committees;
  • Writers of national, state, and local standards and curricula; and
  • Teachers who have a voice in and recommend instructional materials.

We’ve also enhanced the Conference for Exhibiters by offering :

  • Listing exhibitors on the NCGE website, as well as in our newsletter, Perspective.
  • Adding your logo to presentation listings for your company in the conference program
  • A limited number of premium spaces in the high-traffic, foyer area
  • Condensed exhibit times that do not conflict with field trips (field trips are being held at exclusive times)
  • Exhibiter workshops and presentations on Saturday. This allows your company to send fewer representatives who may exhibit and lead comprehensive sessions.
  • Opening reception in the exhibit area.

Booth Prices

  • Premium Booth: $950.00 -6’’x 3’ Draped Table with 2 Chairs
  • Regular Booth:   $800.00 -6’x 3’ Draped Table with 2 Chairs
  • Non-Profit Regular Booth* (New This Year): $500.00 -6’x 3’ Draped Table with 2 Chairs

          *NCGE Approved 501(c) 3 organizations only. University Press Publishers are not approved for this rate.

    All booth space includes:

  • Company name listed in on-site conference program
  • Company name listed on conference website with hyperlink to company website
  • Two full complimentary meeting registration per booth.

          *Booth carpeting, lighting, electric, internet, etc. are not included and must be purchased separately by the exhibitor.

     All exhibitors also have an opportunity to:

  • Lead workshops & training sessions
  • Conduct focus groups and market research
  • Sponsor strands, events, or services
  • Insert information into participant bags 
  • Advertise in our conference program at a reduced rate (See Form)

  • Static Exhibition Booth: $500.00 -6’x 3’ Draped Table

     Provided with the Static Booth will be:

  • Unpacking of materials; set-up; repacking of materials
  • Materials that may be sent for a six-foot table display include:
  • Table top display items such as books, flat maps, and samples of products.
  • Customer referral or request forms that will be returned to vendor after the conference
  • Brochures, catalogs, advertisements, business cards, giveaways, etc.
  • Stand or drape with vendor’s name to be placed on top or along the front of the table.

          Following the conference exhibit at request of vendor: Items will be boxed and returned if information regarding COD postage is included, or Items will be raffled at close of exhibits, or Items will be donated.

Program Ad Prices

  • One-Half Page- (Exhibitor & Member Rate): $300.00 -dimension maximum 4.75 (h) X 7.5 (w) inches
  • Once Full Page- (Exhibitor & Member Prices): $450.00 - dimensions maximum 10.0 (h) X 7.5 (w) inches
  • One-Half Page- (General Public Rate): $450.00 -dimension maximum 4.75 (h) X 7.5 (w) inches
  • Once Full Page- (General Public Rate): $600.00 - dimensions maximum 10.0 (h) X 7.5 (w) inches

*The advertiser must provide PDF copy correctly sized for either one-half page or one page. The PDF must be reproducible in black-gray tones-white with the advertisement in print ready layout. NCGE will not be able to rework or resize submitted layouts. Cancellation Policy: There will be a $200 Administrative Fee charged for cancellations requests. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS AFTER July 31, 2010.
