Greetings to all friends of the National Council for Geographic Education (NCGE). Welcome to the place where we both promote and celebrate geographic teaching and learning. Our activities include conducting and gathering research, producing journals and other geography publications, developing curricular resources at the K-12 and university levels, providing professional development opportunities, and organizing an annual conference.

Mark your calendar for the 2010 National Conference on Geographic Education in Savannah, Georgia, from September 29 to October 3. Geography educators from across the country and around the world will meet to exchange ideas, research, resources, and best practices in geography education. We hope to see you there.

Each year NCGE honors teachers, mentors, students, researchers, and authors who make a difference in geography education.
