ABOUT THE GEOGRAPHY TEACHER: The goal of each issue is to reach the myriad of needs of the NCGE membership of teachers from kindergarten through early university.  This includes geography teachers, as well as those who teach geography through other disciplines, such as American history. 

DON'T FORGET: In addition to submitting articles and lessons, NCGE members are encouraged to submit publishable, high-quality photos of students “doing geography” for consideration for publication as cover photos.

FUTURE ISSUE PREVIEW: The fall 2010 issue will focus on geographic inquiry, while the spring 2011 issue will focus on maps, cartography, and GIS.  Those wishing to submit articles should submit them no later than October 1 for consideration for spring issues and April 1 for fall issues.
