NCGE is now accepting outstanding geography lesson plans for consideration of the 2012 NCGE/ Herff-Jones Nystrom award. This award is given to a teacher for an outstanding geography lesson that has been used in the classroom during the current school year.

Winners of the Nystrom scholarship award are required to present their lessons at the National Conference. These workshop sessions are scheduled to last 45 minutes. If your lesson is selected to receive the award, a session will be scheduled for you in the conference program.

Applications must be postmarked by or emailed to awards@ncge.org by May 11, 2012.
