The NCGE publishes two journals focusing on geography teaching and learning. Members receive both the Journal of Geography and The Geography Teacher and are eligible for discounts on many NCGE special publications in the NCGE on-line store.
The Journal of Geography is NCGE’s flagship peer-reviewed journal, now in its 111th volume, featuring innovative approaches to geography research, teaching, and learning. The Geography Teacher provides resources meant to be directly applicable to the classroom, including lesson plans, background information on important geographic concepts, and essays about pedagogy and learning at the primary and secondary levels. It is published biannually. Read More
