Refund Policy: Conference registration fees are eligible for refunds, if requested before July 1, 2017. Special events, field trips, labs, and workshops are refundable until June 1, 2017. A $50.00 administrative fee is applied to all written refund requests postmarked or emailed by the date listed above. Refunds will be processed after the conference; it may take up to three months to receive funds. In most cases, no refunds will be given after July 1, 2017. Please note: NCGE recognizes that "life happens" and in rare cases we will issue refunds or offer a credit for the 2017 conference for extenuating circumstances. NCGE must receive requests in writing before the conference closing (July 31, 2017). Please email your name, contact information, and the reason you are requesting a refund to Individuals will be notified of NCGE’s decision in mid-September. Please note that field trips, workshops, labs, and special event tickets, and are not eligible for a refund if you are unable to attend.

Cancellation Policy: Special events, field trips, labs and workshops are subject to cancellation if registration numbers for these events are below the required minimum. If an activity is cancelled, you will be notified. You will be offered an alternate field trip and/or an alternate workshop if the one you signed up for is cancelled and another is available. If you choose not to accept an alternate option, you will receive a refund. NCGE cannot be held responsible for travel arrangements made by participants in the event of a field trip or a workshop being cancelled.

Liability Waiver: In submitting your conference registration, you confirm that you will participate in all of the 2017 NCGE Annual Conference activities at your own risk. Accordingly, you agree to hold the NCGE Board, staff, contractors, and agents harmless against all injury that you might suffer at any time during this conference.

Photography/Video Agreement: In submitting your conference registration and attending the 2017 NCGE Annual Conference you understand photographs and video may be taken during the conference in which you may be included, and you agree and understand that these images may be used by NCGE for promotional purposes in print, video, and on the World Wide Web.
